Ready for Torture

What can I say that the pic can't say for me...? I'm sick and twisted? Well, there's no blood or anything sexually provocative... I'm borderline psychotic? We knew that already (familial trait)... I have deep desires to tie up a dragon and shine a really bright-ass light at him? Well jeez, who wouldn't...?

The original idea behind this was for a dragon to be tortured, but still not give up his information. It was supposed to be titled something like "What, that's it?", "You call that torture?", or something of that semblance. It was intended to be a snarky remark having to do with him flipping the bird to his captors.

That is what he's doing by the way... Yeah, I know, he has small hands... It's not like dragons need big hands though, not when they have wings and clearly have big feet. Not all dragons walk on four legs...

Anyway, I'm rambling. He's just one of those ideas that ya gotta get out.

Techniques used for shading are simple. Everything was done in PS7 (other than digitizing the lineart). Many layers were doubled to give the 'pop-up' with 'shadows' effect (like the harness and shackles). And the wall plates were just done using a "sawtooth" kind of 'gloss contour' (PS7 words, not mine).

I'm considering putting a cinderblock wall in the background, under the strapped down draggy. We'll see, though.
